Happy Humpday: Visions

Visions – The old view from my apartment in Seattle, Washington.

Gorgeous view, wouldn’t you agree?  You can see forever, but as in life, visions change.  There are now 20 and 40-story skyscrapers blocking all my views now.  At first I was upset that my forever vision was now defunct and I didn’t think it was fair. But, as my Mom told me, life isn’t fair and visions change.  You can either spend your time bitter and upset or move with the times.

Sometimes it’s more satisfactory staying in a bitter place, mourning what visions you held are no longer in effect. But what we don’t realize is that better visions can now take place.  We’ve discussed ruts before and now that your old vision is no longer viable, now is the perfect time to make a change.  Get with the times-for the only person you’re hurting by holding on to the past, is you.
